Why Wenonah?

The Wenonah Advantage

Our Community

Wenonah is family-owned. In our setting community living is emphasized and individual accomplishments are celebrated. Camp is home to 250 campers, 75 leadership participants, and 100+ staff members. Over 80% of our campers return to Wenonah year after year, allowing each child and youth to build upon the personal growth that they achieved in previous summers. The size of the Wenonah community means that everyone learns new things and experiences personal development in a safe and supportive environment.

Programs for First Time Campers

We offer distinct programs for 5-12 year olds of different lengths of stay, including our popular 3-day WEEnonah program for 5 – 7 year olds and 7-day introductory programs for older campers. All new campers and families are invited to see Camp and meet our staff at our New Camper Open House every June. We also make phone calls made to families of first time campers 48 hours after start of Camp Period so they know how their camper is doing after the first few days of Camp.
