OUTDOOR EDUCATION CENTRE - SPRING 2010 AVAILABILITY

As the crisp days of Fall slowly give way to the shorter days of winter, we are looking forward to another successful season of outdoor education at Wenonah in 2010. We have already begun to prepare for another exciting season at The Camp Wenonah Centre For Outdoor Education.

This year, we launched several new program initiatives as part of our Outdoor Education curriculum:

Some of these new programs include:
- Global Positioning System (GPS) / Geocaching
- Interpretive Nature Hikes
- Small Group Initiatives
- Environmental Impact Studies
- Astronomy
- Redesigned Crafts Program

Of course, we continued to develop the site and facility at Wenonah as well. In the Spring, we opened a new shower house for students. Projects set to begin in mid-October include the groundbreaking on a dramatic expansion of the Main Lodge.

Many groups have already booked spaces for their trips to Wenonah in May and June 2010. We have a limited number of spaces available for school groups this Spring.
