Brief info

Nancy manages our health care team and acts as the main contact for families with campers who have medical needs. Nancy is a certified Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) holding an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and a Masters Degree from Athabasca University. Nancy is a Nurse Practitioner at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre COVID Assessment Centre and as well as with Infectious Diseases COVIDEO at Sunnybrook. She also worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Emergency at SickKids Hospital. As well, she practices at a Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic in Rosseau providing primary care for all age groups. Nancy was Co-Chair of the Ontario Camps Association Health Care Committee. She spent several months doing humanitarian work in Ghana working on a capacity building project funded by the Government of Canada, SickKids and the Ghana Ministry of Health. She has done previous Nurse Practitioner work in liver and small bowel transplant. Nancy’s interests include travelling and adventure in the great outdoors having completed a canoe trip to the Arctic Circle and a trip to Bhutan (one of the world’s most isolated countries).
