Acoustic GuitarCampers may wish to bring their own guitar or, use one of the Camp guitars to either learn basic chords or further develop existing skills. Campers often share their talents during Camp Wenonah Little Theatre Nights and at section and closing campfires.
ArtsFor the budding artist! The emphasis is on providing opportunities for individual expression using a variety of media such as paper, wood, natural objects and wax. Campers also use clay to make pottery pieces. This PIC is sure to challenge both beginner and advanced artists!
CraftsCrafts allows campers to hone their skills in Drifwood. Crafts features classic camp crafts that are sure to engage the creative spirits of campers! Campers can expect to work with tie-dye, papier mache, silk screening, and make jewellery. For those interested in the silk screening program, please be sure to bring a white shirt to Camp with you.
Drama - NEW in 2010!!The opportunity for self expression, creativity and fun is experienced in the Drama program. Campers will explore their imagination and creativity while building voice and movement skills. Activities include theatre games, improvisation, skits, movement and the opportunity to perform before an audience.
Musical TheatreOur Musical Theatre program challenges campers in theatresports and drama, while adding a musical twist. Experienced staff work with campers as they train and then prepare for the big show every two weeks. This production is written and performed by campers for the full Camp.
Paddle MakingThis hands-on program is a big favourite at Wenonah! With the support of paddlemaster Ray Kettlewell, Wenonah campers have the opportunity to create their own canoe paddles from paddle blanks available at Camp and return home with their finished product.
