Why Wenonah?

The Wenonah Advantage

Our Community

Wenonah is family-owned. In our setting community living is emphasized and individual accomplishments are celebrated. Camp is home to 250 campers, 75 leadership participants, and 100+ staff members. Over 80% of our campers return to Wenonah year after year, allowing each child to build upon the personal growth that they achieved in previous summers. The size of the Wenonah community means that each child can learn new things and experience personal development in a safe and supportive environment.

Programs for First Time Campers

We offer distinct programs for 5-12 year olds of varying lengths, including our popular 3-day WEEnonah program for 5 – 7 year olds and 7-day introductory programs for older campers. All new campers and families are invited to see Camp and meet our staff at our New Camper Open House every June. We also make phone calls made to families of first time campers 48 hours after start of Camp Period so they know how their camper is doing after the first few days of Camp.

Amazing Meals

Lead by Executive Chef Cody Rector, our food service team provides three hearty and healthy meals each day to campers. Meals are prepared with great care, and are served buffet style.
